I'm certain there are solid reasons for this mixture, but beautiful as the coat is--and despite it's fitting me perfectly, I knew from earlier experience that I would regret its not being as soft, as supple as the 100% wool coats I have from Pendleton. This personal preference aside, the olive color is just what I'd hoped as is the pattern. I'd say the coat is trim, the sleeves are long...the upper button was loose, but whoever buys the coat can fix that easily. I am slender with longer arms and found the arm and body lengths to be perfect. I ordered a small and will say the body is slim, particularly over the hips. The neck tab is removable and the collar can be folded down. The green color is very much in tune with what is currently popular and Pendleton had coordinating colored turtlenecks to wear with it. The jacket is lined, though the description said it was not. The coat has a black acetate lining - the listing says it's unlined, which is incorrect. I'm 5'4&quot;, 115 lbs. and ordered the XS. The coat hits about 1.5-2&quot; lower on me than the model; actually about the same in the back and lower than the model in the front, which may be attributable to my A cup size. Ideally it would be offered in petite sizes, in which case I would order a petite size small so that I could wear something bulkier than a cashmere sweater under it. BUT it's roomy enough to stay warm and the coat is just too gorgeous to return. If I ordered a size up it would be too long in the body and sleeves. The quality of this coat is immediately apparent and I love the non-loud, muted tones. This coat is made of a dense, heavier wool that will absolutely protect in chilly temps of about 40+, and if you&#39;re walking or moving this coat will probably be plenty warm at 30+. The coat is lined, and it is a sturdy wool made for keeping people warm. I got it exactly for temps of mid, upper 30s and 40s and I know I&#39;d be warm tooling around Seattle in this coat.
