I am 5ft 3in and have long arms. I usually wear size 8 in slacks and will sometimes go up to a 10 in a jacket so the bust will be looser and sleeves longer; however, I ordered this blazer in a size 12, hoping to layer it. Unfortunately, the sleeves were way too long, the chest was snug, and the length of the item was too long. A size smaller wouldn&rsquo;t have worked. Probably would work on someone 5&rsquo;10&rdquo;. I had been searching for the perfect wool blazers for a while, to no avail. My search is over! The plaid matches perfectly, and I love the design. Can't beat those large pockets, and the single button and the waist and fuller cut are perfect for me. Likewise, the sleeve length is perfect (I have average length arms). The quality of the 100% wool fabric is outstanding. That this jacket was made in the U.S.A. was an added plus. I am proportional 38-30-40, 34D. The sleeves are way too long by about 2 in., and sn adjustment would be difficult because there are nonfunctional button holes on the sleeves. Im tallusg, so who would have such long arms? The cut of the jacket body is straight up and down, so there is no waist line definition. Not at all flattering..Would have preferred a welt + flap pocket instead of the patch pockets. This was a beautiful blazer. I have your Walker coat in 20 and it fit so nicely. Please make more blazers and coats in size 20! I will buy them all! This blazer is amazing! The plaid is really interesting, and the hand is nice and soft.
