Lovely coat, fit is off
Such a beautiful brown color and the fabric is extremely high quality. I love literally everything about this coat except for the fit, which is very off. I usually prefer boxier cut, oversized clothes, but this was too overwhelming for me. I am always a M if not L in coats, and went with a M. The shoulders are tight, so I wouldn't be able to size down, but the arms go past my knuckles, super long, and like other reviewers commented, the body is so bulky that it makes me look like a penguin. I wanted to love this coat and make it work because the construction is beautiful and it seems like a super warm coat, but I just couldn't get past how unflattering the fit is.

Love This Coat
Super high quality coat and, so far, very warm. Read the reviews about the fit (fitted in the sleeves but spacious in the middle) before you buy. I find the fit to be super cute and not frumpy at all. Very high quality material and construction. For the price, I feel like this was a great deal compared to a lot of other coats out there. I find myself getting excited about the colder days so I can wear it. As someone who only wears black, I took a chance on the brown and absolutely love the color too.

Too Tall for This from
Such a beautiful coat but doesn’t fit my long arms
I just got this coat and it is so beautiful. It’s thick and rugged and the walnut color is gorgeous. Unfortunately it just does not fit my shoulders and long arms. I am 5‘9“ and 145lbs. I always order tall and long sizes when I can but took the risk on this coat. Ordered a medium. It’s just a little too tight in my shoulders and the sleeves are about 3 inches too short when I move my arms up. I thought about sizing up to a large but because of the generous sizing it would become a tent on me. It makes me sad to return it because it’s such a nice coat so if you are able to wear normal sizes I highly recommend ordering this!

Favorite Coat Ever!
So warm and beautifully made! Let’s set the record straight on sizing: the size chart is accurate in terms of matching YOUR measurments with size of coat. I used the chart & ended up with an XS, which is a size smaller than I order for wool shirts & other outwear from Pendleton (I’m 5’3, 123, 32-26-36) & the fit is perfect. YES, it is boxier-cut through chest, shoulders, & body . . . because the coat itself is THICK & meant to be layered over other winter garments. The sleeve length is perfect on me, & the sleeves are more tailored than the body. The coat is clearly intentionally designed for layering, which is a great thing! I have to say, I really question the review that insists a 6’9” dude fit “easily” into an XS - I mean, maybe he got it on, but the cuffs would be halfway to his elbows, & he wouldn’t be able to bend or raise his arms.

So excited for colder weather to wear this jacket!
Bought this jacket a few weeks ago, and I LOVE it! It will be my everyday late fall into winter coat. I am 5'8, ~150lbs, and generally wear a M in Pendleton tops, jackets and dresses. Got an M, and it is roomy. I think I could have worn a S, but ultimately would rather it was a bit big vs. a little too small. The length is fantastic (mid-thigh), and the sleeves are long too. It is really warm and the fabric is so sturdy. Love the hood detail.
