Additional Information

Inspired by a classic Pendleton design from the 1920s that was rediscovered in a private collection. This intricate pattern features stylized stars, diamonds, arrows and waterbug motifs in a palette that echoes the white and grey bark of Aspen trees against a blue sky. Muted colors create the look of a favorite vintage blanket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as expected. My grandfather worked for Pendleton his whole working career, so needless to say I grew up with everything Pendleton. My house just didn't feel complete without Pendleton blankets, I finally bought one for my bed. I couldn't be happier with this blanket, it is beautiful and warm, it really makes my room complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heirloom quality, simply gorgeous! If you're looking for a thick army-style wool blanket, don't bother with Pendleton. A blanket doesn't have to be thick to be warm and comfortable, especially if it's woven to high standards. I have two Pendleton blankets and hope to get more, and maybe some of the others are thicker, but these are not extremely thick heavy blankets, which is partly why I like them. I can throw my wool blanket over my down comforter when the nights are cold, and it keeps me perfectly warm without being heavy. On top of that, I can use the blankets as bedspreads because they're totally beautiful. Heavy is not necessarily better, and can actually make you claustrophobic. Pendleton blankets are also wonderful to use as a throw or wrap while reading, etc. I was hesitant to choose this design because of the light colors and it has to be dry cleaned, but I'm happy now that I did. I have three dogs and three cats, all who are welcome on (or in) my bed, and the blanket is holding up beautifully. I can spot clean it if need be, but so far it doesn't show dirt at all. Of course, they're not allowed on the bed if they're muddy or such, but I really don't worry about it, because this blanket is easy to clean without taking it to the dry cleaners. A damp cloth and everything comes off, no soap needed or recommended. As more and more of our products are outsourced, we tend to forget what real quality looks like. All I can say is, if you've never owned a Pendleton blanket, you've never seen what the artisans in our country are capable of producing. This blanket is truly gorgeous, will last forever, and is of heirloom quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes the Room Better in-person than shown on the website. Got this for a room with gray-blue and white colors. Has a nice medium heft. The colors and pattern are both subtle yet eye-catching without overwhelming the room. Quality is exceptional. I can't imagine anyone being dissappointed in one of these blankets..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as beautiful as I hoped they would be I bought two silver bark blankets for my twin beds. The colors are soft and rich and the blankets are beautifully made. The Native American influence is obvious, but subtle.
