Additional Information
A blanket with a story to tell, based on a work by artist Preston Singletary. The image represents Raven, a shape shifter and trickster. In the story, the old chief who lived at the head of the Nass River kept his precious treasures—the sun, the moon and the stars—in beautifully carved boxes. Raven steals the boxes and makes his escape into the night sky, carrying the sun in his mouth. The sun is a metaphor for enlightenment or knowledge. The ombred background shades meet at the center in vibrant colors of sun and light. A portion of the proceeds from this blanket will be donated to the American Indian College Fund (AICF) to help support tribal colleges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful We purchased this blanket as a group gift for our child’s public school teacher. We are in the PNW and the curriculum was filled with lessons about our local tribes and their cultures and traditions. The colors are vibrant and absolutely beautiful. Also happy that the purchase supports the AICF.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning design and colors. Happy to support the fund. The blanket was even nicer than the photos online can show. Stunning colors, and the beautiful NW coast design style is an interesting and refreshing variation on the established and well-loved more familiar native themed blankets. Love the story behind the design. The unnapped finish is likely to keep the design sharp for a long time. Warm, comfy, perfect.Glad you honored the designer Mr. Singletary. Also feels great to pay a little more and support the American Indian College Fund. That's the right thing to do. Nice job Pendleton.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful This blanket was a gift for a friend and when he opened it, it was packaged so neatly. When we unfolded it, the colors were so gorgeous (front and back). This blanket is thin enough to carry on trips but being 82% wool, it was so perfectly cozy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing colors I received this blanket in the mail earlier today and I have to say it's everything I hoped for. It feels thinner than my North Star (napped) however, it is the same weight and provides the same level of warmth. The colors are amazing and I'm very happy with the purchase
