The picture on-line didn't really show the neckline, which is not really finished - it looks like they zig-zagged it to finish it, it would've been better/nicer if it had a finished crew neckline with the same yarn. The arms were very long, which surprised me. I really felt the quality of the yarn, the color, and stitch was beautiful, but definitely not like previous Pendleton Fisherman's sweaters I've owned. I have the grey sweater form last year, and have worn it again this fall --always over a cotton turtleneck. When I saw the red version. I didn't think twice and was able to buy it at a good price. The wool is anything but comfortable--rough and itchy--without a layer beneath, but it's warm, oversized (intentionally) and I like the classic simplicity of the cable knit and the simple neck that works well with T-necks.
