<span itemprop="description">After decades of slobbing-out with cheap hoodies, I finally pulled the trigger on splurging for a decent sweater. While I initially was looking for a Westerley a la The Dude, this one seemed more my own style, with a sharp color and pockets.
The wool is far more comfortable than prior experiences (i.e., G.I. blankets) - very soft & warm. It also resists breezes far better than other wool items I've worn.
How 5-star worthy is it? I find myself wearing it almost every day.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Suits and sport coats no longer anchor the "dress-up" outfit of choice in certain settings where they were once considered mandatory. I was a reluctant convert, but today my wardrobe has far more cardigan sweaters (and fewer suit and sport coats) than it did several years ago. Paired with either jeans or dressier pants, this zippered green/brown carigan gives me a nice "caual-plus" appearance when needed. Also, though I have my share of cotton sweaters, I prefer wool sweaters overall, especially in the winter months. If you're a sweater guy, this one is a no-brainer.</span>

I can answer my own question. I bought the sweater and I would say it's tightly-knit and medium weight, about 22 ounces for the small sweater.
