Rated 5 out of 5 by from I never write reviews.... I go this blanket in the ‘charcoal mix’. It was a little stiff and scratchy but I put it on the bed. Two weeks later I washed it as per the instructions. Then put it the dryer on air for 30 minutes, then out on the deck in the sunshine. It dried easier than I expected and is a touch softer now. Definitely less stiff. It is wool so I expect a little scratchiness. I’m wanting to get the matching pillow shames but they are pretty expensive and not on sale like the blanket was so I’ll have to wait. I love this blanket!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Bought this blanket before in another color at full price and loved it. This one was on sale in sage. Not the same blanket and the color was a light green and looked cheap. Sent it back. VERY disappointed and lost some faith in Pendleton excellence. Afraid to order another one of these, but sure would like to have another one like my first one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality and Beauty I've bought Ecowise blankets for almost every season. They are tightly woven, and not to heavy or too light. After several years of constant use, my first blanket has not pilled. FYI, the slate color is actually a warm dark taupe that goes well with many color schemes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice mid weight blanket I bought this blanket a month ago after a long search to find the perfect weight pure wool blanket. This ticked all the boxes such as made in America of natural fibers. Machine washable was a lovely thought. Sadly this is not it. I missed having a satin binding more than I thought I would, the wool is itchier than anticipated, and the weight was too heavy for summer (and it appears too light for winter). Will keep trying. Thanks Pendleton for providing American made quality goods.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from medium grade wool blanket I now have several Pendleton blankets. They are all in pleasant, sedate colors and are a comfortable, convenient weight. However, the wool is only a good quality not great as they are slightly scratchy. And my most recent blanket purchase from Pendleton arrived with wrinkles that took several weeks to flatten out. Pendleton blankets are still the best product on the market for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I expected and got an excellent blanket. Our first Pendleton blankets were purchased many years ago and they get put on our beds every winter. They're a bit heavy for early fall/late spring, so I decided now was the time for a new, lighter weight blanket. I was hoping for the same excellent quality, and I got it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft, warm, and pretty! My mom has had to move to a nursing home because of serious health issues and a failed trial of home care. She wanted her Pendleton blanket from home but it was way too big for her nursing home bed. She asked for a blue one and I had her name embroidered on it in tan thread so she wouldn't have to have the iron-on nursing home name tapes. I washed it and tumbled with no heat then left it spread out on a bed to dry completely before taking it to her. It turned out wonderfully soft and the long tumble with no heat softened it and made it dry faster. She loves the dusk blue color and is happy to have this soft and warm touch of home. Thanks, Pendleton; we can always count on the quality of your products.
