Our Eco-Wise blankets are woven using the same yarns and processes that we've used for years. These blankets do change slightly after several washings and dryings so it's possible you are seeing differences now but they will change as you wash your new blanket.

The actual resin and process are proprietary, but the resin used allows for washing stability - it coats the scales on the wool to prevent the shrinking/interlocking/felting.
