<span itemprop="description">Love the look and aesthetic of this bed. (That's really what you're paying for.) Our dog took to it right away. We got the extra large due to the measurements online and our dog size (45lb medium size dog). The bed is definitely larger than what is stated in the size chart by 2-4 inches for length and width, and could have gone down a size to the large. The cover is made out of a polyester and is washable. Since our dog doesn't have all black hair, the hairs really show up against the black parts of the cover. Plus with him chewing a bone or treats in bed the slobber and goo also make it look dirty. We've had to wash the bed cover twice in one month since getting it. It's an easy zip off and take the pillow inserts out. Again, I love the look of it but if I had to order again I'd go with one size down and a cover with colors that wouldn't show the dogs hair.</span>
