ABOUT LINDSEY THORNBURG
Lindsey Thornburg studied in Santa Barbara, trained in design in Los Angeles, and moved to New York City in 2003, where she began selling her own dress collections in downtown Manhattan. Inspired by her childhood familiarity with Pendleton blankets and a need for an affordable winter coat, she started transforming the blankets into garments. This led to a collaboration with Pendleton in 2011.
For over 13 years, Lindsey has worked with Pendleton to create heirloom-quality cloaks and garments from their iconic wool blankets. Each piece is carefully designed and handcrafted in her Manhattan Chinatown atelier by Lindsey Thornburg and Stacey Berry. The self-funded brand has grown organically, emphasizing craftsmanship, heritage, and timeless design.
