The email I received says 100% of the sales are donated to the Northwest wildfires, the description of the blanket here says a portion of the sales. Which is if, and what percentage? This is an important selling point to me when paying $269.

We ran a 4 day promotion in September benefitting the Oregon Red Cross where we donated 100% of the sales of our Wildland Heroes blanket to local fire recovery. That special donation is done, but we continue to give a portion of each sale to the national Wildland Firefighter Foundation, in aid of injured firefighters and their families.

You as a consumer can care for the item as you see fit though it would void the warranty if cared for against the care instructions. To keep the integrity of the material and the blanket Pendleton recommends that this item be Dry Cleaned Only.

There are no plans to offer this blanket in additional sizes as many of the Jacquard or Native American Indian inspired blankets are offered in one size. We have shared your feedback with our merchandising and design teams for future consideration.

100% of the purchases went to the Australian Red Cross during the one day sale. This blanket does send a portion of sales throughout the year to the Wildland FIrefighter Foundation which is a different and separate cause.
