The Silver Bark blanket brings the sky and earth together in a classic Pendleton design from the 1920s. Discovered in a private collection, it features stylized arrow, star, diamond, and waterbug motifs. The hues were inspired by the white and silver grey bark of aspen trees against a blue sky, and the muted colors give it the much-loved look of a vintage blanket. Silver Bark is a beautiful example of an “Overall” blanket pattern, with design elements repeating across the entire surface of the fabric.
