Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality blanket to last a lifetime. My daughter moved to Portland, OR, this year and this was the perfect gift for her 40th birthday & to keep her warm on cold rainy nights.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from classy, warm, gonna be around We got this blanket as a present from our wedding registry. I don't think I would ever pay $200 for a blanket, but it was a gift so why not? It has a nice weight. The colors are lovely. Sort of has a mid-century modern vibe to it which we like. Decided not to use on our bed, but great couch blanket. A bit itchy against neck or face, but that's not surprising. This will be around for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeping me warm in a cool way After years of admiring Pendleton blankets, my partner and I finally took the leap and bought this beauty. We live in Wisconsin and plan to use it as our bedspread throughout the year (likely having to layer on another blanket for the coldest of nights). Although initially a big financial commitment, the timeless style and great quality of the blanket makes it well worth the price. We plan to use it for years and years and hopefully pass it on to our (currently hypothetical) children.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Pleased I doubt I have ever previously responded to a vendor's request for feedback. I don't know wool or weaving. Nevertheless ... This blanket feels so solid and certainly so warm that I am overjoyed with my purchase. Please continue to produce quality merchandise like this. Rich McC

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blankets are wonderful. The national park blankets (I have 2) are thick, heavy, warm, very well made, and lovely. These are heirloom quality blankets that my two granddaughters will one day receive.

Are the colors of the National Park merchandise defined and created by the US Park Service or by Pendleton designers? What is the history of these colors and your designs? I cannot find any info on your website. Can you direct me to some reference materia

Asked by: JZee
The designs of our National Park Blankets are created by our designers here at Pendleton. Colors chosen to represent a National Park are based on photographs of the areas capturing the feel of each park.
