Rated 5 out of 5 by from Timeless!!! One man can never have too many Pendeltons. Thank you for never wavering from your quality. It’s truly a collection that can be passed on from generation to generation. My grandfather gave me my first one and from that point on....I was hooked! 23 and counting/collecting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why did I wait! I have never had the good fortune to encounter a vintage Pendleton Wool Shirt. I avoided buying buying one of there modern offerings for about a year because I read too many reviews saying that the quality wasn't there anymore. Well those vintage shirts must have been spun from Golden Fleece. I ordered to wool shirts this summer(2018), due to the poor reviews I inspected every stitch on each shirt. Both shirts were immaculate and very nice looking. Sometimes I think old guys just like to complain and talk about how much better things used to be. As far as the country of origin. I always like it when the tag says "made in USA", but these shirts are honcho en Mexico. The way I see it if Mexico is able to churn out a quality product, as I have seen in these shirts and some leather goods from Saddle Back Leather, that is a good thing. Maybe if they can find some good jobs there they won't be in such a rush to jump the fence. I am all for businesses in the US making Mexico a better place. These shirts really are exceptional. I can't wait until the weather cools and I can wear them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s still the one! I have worn Pendleton board shirts since my high school days in Southern California in the 60s. Now that I am retired, and living in Central Florida, I can only wear them a couple months out of the year but when it gets cold here the first thing I reach for is one of my board shirts. Thanks for keeping up the quality, you’re still the one and the only one for board shirts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surf Plaid Board Shirt Last November I visited my old climbing partner outside Boise and hiked a trail a mile from his house. Trailhead signs warn you about wildlife, usually cougars or bears. But, this one had a picture of a couple of Grand Pyrenees. I asked Johnny if it was for real and he said “yeah, you don’t approach. The Basques use Border Collies to drive the sheep, but they have those guys to guard them.” Basques, they brought those dogs FROM the Grand Pyrenees. The gods only know how many centuries those bloodlines go back. I guess what I’m saying is that it makes me feel good to buy a product that supports a way of life. Pendleton goes back to what, 1863? And, always get good quality. The board shirt is cool fashion dating as it does to the fifties surfers. But, the reason those guys went for the shirt is obvious: nice, thick wool that works as a light night beach jacket or a winters layer that stays warm when it’s wet and will last a decade

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant Shadow Plaids Update Surf Mystique It was de rigueur in 1960s California to wear Pendletons, and I did. Too rarely Pendleton features its elegant, eye-popping shadow-plaid designs, and it does too few of them. When I saw it I got the blue/gold/yellow ombre pattern ("Umatilla") and wanted the blue/rust/orange ombre design (sold out). The shirt design is classic, love the flap pockets: no buttons, please. Pendleton's online sales help make these shirts affordable. Pendleton has kept its quality intact. The wool still has that "scratchy" feel, though it's not coarse or heavy. They're Hecho en Mexico, too bad for US workers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t go wrong with a Pendleton... Proudly wear my Pendletons for whatever occasion pops up. People often comment on how classic and “Old School” these Board Shirts are....Over a dozen Board Shirts in my collection with more in the future!!!
