I normally wear a medium as I like them slightly oversized. Read previous reviews and took a chance to order an XS. XS fits like a slightly smaller medium except the cuffs which are tight. Hoping I can stretch them out. Overall I'm pleased so I took the plunge, cut off the tags and will keep it. The size XL fits me nicely and is loose enough to be a comfortable cardigan. This sweater is high quality and looks fabulous. It is appropriate for business casual attire. Since reaching my 50's, I get cold easily in winter and this sweater keeps me toasty warm, where other wool sweaters may not. Synthetic fabrics make me itch, so it is a true pleasure to find this cardigan.
