Rated 4 out of 5 by from This coat confuses me! First off, the coat is beautiful and a real eye dazzler! And of course it has the expected Pendleton quality. But what is up with these sleeves??? Ok I get the drop shoulder and the whole cocoon thing but I can't figure out why the sleeves are so short. I am tall but I'm not THAT tall as to have super long arms. Now I am thinking that because this coat is a throwback to an early fashion era, perhaps it is really meant to have 3/4 sleeves and be worn with nice long gloves. The gal in the photos has the same problem and it doesn't seem to bother her (lol) so I will have to think on this one. I may have them let down or I may send it back...or maybe I just need some nice long leather gloves!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Pendleton quality, but returning due to fit I've loved and worn Pendleton all of my life, and I got the moto jacket last year, which is my all-time favorite. Really wanted this coat, but it is, I believe, intended as a winter "overcoat" to wear in winter over other clothing, but it only fits women who have smaller shoulders and arms than I, or perhaps who do NOT want to wear it over just a "normal" blazer, suit jacket or winter sweater. Body is plenty big, almost too big, but shoulders and arms are proportionally too small for me. Had the same problem with an LL Bean coat that I got a few years ago (as did a LOT of the LL Bean reviewers at that time). So now I must sadly give up on Pendleton coats forever (and LL Bean) and go to the local dept store for a winter coat that will fit over a suit jacket and fits someone other than thin-armed models.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Fabulous I’ve loved Pendleton since the 1960’s — I still have my beautiful Pendleton Reversible Pleated Skirt—can’t bear to part with it. The coat is wonderful and I can’t wait until it gets cold enough in Austin to wear it...or maybe I won’t wait until then!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eye catching coat It has still not gotten cold enough to wear this beauty but I’m excited to change out my standard, blend in with the crowd black winter coat for this one. Quality and beauty equals Pendleton. I hope they keep up with the more unique and interesting integration of their blanket patterns with clothing.
