Liberty Window Silver And Bead Necklace
The pendant was inspired by old Northwest coast Native American clamshell ornaments and each is hand-forged from a vintage U.S. silver dime. The word "liberty" is retained from the original coin by John R. Sinnock, former Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint and designer of the Roosevelt dime. The hole represents a spirit window where good energy is free to pass. Necklace is a colorful string of vintage and modern trade beads with bone, turquoise lapis and carnelian accents. Circle clasp with twin serpent bar and handmade sterling silver hishi beads. Handcrafted in the USA exclusively for Pendleton by silversmith artists Jack and Janette Burton. 18" long.
