Large Travel Bag
Our Pecos jacquard sets this overnight bag apart from the sea of other black canvas bags on the move. The Pecos pattern reflects the artistic heritage of two ancient peoples of the American Southwest. Generations ago, the village of Pecos controlled the trade path between the Native American farmers of the Rio Grande in the south and the tribes of Plains buffalo hunters to the north. Pecos pueblo residents became economically powerful and accomplished in the arts and customs of the two worlds. Today, the ruins of Pecos pueblo sit on a small ridge in the Pecos River Valley. Classic diamonds are symbols from both cultures. Two bellows snap pockets outside, three zippered pockets inside. 100% pure virgin wool jacquard is woven in our Northwest mill. Back and bottom are sturdy canvas. Removable, adjustable shoulder strap, padded handles. Pattern placement varies. Imported of USA fabric. 16½"H x 19"W x 9"D.
