The Product Integrity Manager has global responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of raw material, finished product, and resource adherence to regulatory, safety, and social compliance standards.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Lead Product Integrity Process in the identification of issues and appropriate corrective action.
Research, interpret, and effectively communicate government regulations in a timely manner to internal and external business partners as pertains to product safety standards and restricted substance compliance.
Manage the development and continued oversight of comprehensive raw material and product performance and testing specifications, integrate into development process, and communicate to internal and external business partners.
Oversight of outside testing service providers, including service level expectations, count management communication, requests for testing, and storage of testing information.
Oversight of product care and wear ability testing, including determining the effectiveness of internal testing programs and recommending corrective action where needed.
Approval of all labeling/ticketing format, text and symbols to insure compliance to necessary international standards.
Manage the Pendleton product Quality Manual, including updates, maintenance and distribution.
Establishment and Maintenance of Global manufacturing social compliance program for Pendleton such as WRAP.
Skills and Qualification Requirements:
Degree in Textiles and a minimum of 10 years industry experience and product knowledge through all phases of material and soft goods or apparel product testing and labeling.
Quality assurance and social compliance.
High level of product knowledge in soft goods.
Understanding of government regulations and international labeling standards as pertains to apparel and soft goods.
High level understanding of current industry AATCC and ASTM test methods and standards.
High level understanding of social compliance issues and available certifications.
Proficiency in computer software, including MS Windows and Outlook applications.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
