Hello. My lodge shirt just arrived. Is it washable or do I dry clean it? Will it shrink? If so it will be too small.

Please double check the label on the Lodge Shirt. Pendleton&rsquo;s washable wool shirts are made with a fabric that has been treated with a special process to seal the scales of wool fiber and should not shrink if the washing instructions are followed. These fabrics are clearly labeled as washable, and once washed, should not be dry cleaned. If you would rather dry clean a washable wool shirt, it should not be washed after. Dry cleaning removes the washable finish. Always choose one method and stick with it.

Our Umatilla fabric will soften a bit after washing. The garment fabric care label, found inside the Women's Lodge Shirt, has all the information on washing. Here is how it reads - Machine wash with like colors, cold, gentle cycle. No bleach. Line dry. Steam press with warm iron, as needed.
