This banded robe from the Pendleton Woolen Mills archives first debuted in 1904. It was offered again in 1920, during the Golden Age of the Native American Trade Blanket. Its sawtooth pattern of mountain peaks and crooked rivers represents landscape of central Oregon's Ochoco Mountains. This area, home to bald eagles, hawks and falcons, was once a travel route and hunting ground for the Shoshone/Pauite people. Reverses for two dramatically different looks.
