Important care tip
I've had Pendelton wool shirts for years, but until 3 years ago I was ignorant about the proper care of the Merino wool shirts. As a result, I was a very frustrated Pendelton fan. My shirts shrunk terribly over a couple of years & became unwearable. Then I learned the secret to preventing any shrinkage of the wool. The secret is using the gentle cycle in the washer. The spin cycle in the regular setting is much too violent & causes the fibers to contract & the entire shirt shrinks significantly over time in all dimensions. I also use Wool Lite detergent, meant for wool clothing. Since learning this secret, I bought 4 new Trail shirts & Lodge shirts & over the last 3 years they have not shrunk at all. they are still the original measurements. I love the feel & wide temperature comfort range of wool. I'm comfortable from the upper 40's to the low 70's fahrenheit in my Pendeltons. They are truly one of life's pleasures.

I usually can only buy one a year- but your sale prices have been so good that I was able to purchase the two of the elbow patch shirts and also a Hawaiian shirt!
My husband has been wearing only Pendleton’s for years!

Because less than 10% of the population is 6 feet or taller. Add to that the fact that about 40% of American adults are overweight and or obese (e.g. XL) and the piece of clothing you are after will only fit less than 5% of the entire population...... Making products that are only useful for 5% of the population is not financially viable in most situations.
