Additional Information

Glacier was the first national park honored with a Pendleton wool blanket in the early 1900s. This special new edition was woven to celebrate the park’s 100th anniversary, and features our original blanket’s iconic stripes along with traditional park motifs and a backdrop of the rugged Rocky Mountains. Like the first Glacier Park Blanket, this centennial edition is woven in our Pendleton, Oregon mill. It reverses for a dramatically different look of white on black. Corner patch was inspired by a 1920s Glacier Park window decal.
• 64" x 80"
• Napped; whipstitched binding
• Pure virgin wool/cotton
• Dry clean
• Made in USA

The National Park Foundation receives a royalty from the purchase of each national park blanket. Pendleton and our partners have donated more than $700,000 so far to support critical restoration projects in our national parks.
Dry clean.
Since the early 1900s, Pendleton Woolen Mills has honored American’s National Parks with a collection of distinctive Park Blankets. Today, a portion of your purchase helps fund two park restoration projects through a donation to the National Park Foundation. These projects include rebuilding the famous double helix stairwell at Many Glacier Hotel and the preservation of the Grand Canyon Train Depot. With your support, we’ve donated more than $500,000.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent service and product I tried to order this on the Web site but after it did not arrive in 2 weeks I called and received great help by a very nice and intelligent young lady (I am sorry I do not remember her name). She went over the order and could not figure out if it was a web site problem or my error; she then did the order for me and made sure it arrived ASAP. It a beautiful blanket and they way it was shipped was great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this blanket, but . . . It draws compliments from almost all that see it. Sadly, we had to replace our original after a laundry accident. We had taken it with us on a trip and our cat also loved it. So we knew it needed cleaning and while awaiting our trip to the dry cleaner we left it atop our washing machine, the cleanest place in the room. A bottle of bleach on the shelf above for some reason broke and leaked on the pile of laundry without our knowledge. This wasn't the only fabric ruined, just the most cherished and expensive. The bleach ate holes in the blanket as well as other clothes of various fabrics. Not the blanket's fault, but word to the wise, "Don't let your good blanket come in contact with bleach!!!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glacier Park Anniversary Blanket It is a well made blanket. I'm pleased with the quality. The two different sides are a great idea that looks super. I read one review that someone was unhappy with it not being a full twin size but I could be a happy with this design being smaller. I use it for a lap blanket while sitting in a chair. I would like to see full design. It's not a true complaint, I can still fold it in half for cooler evenings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great blanket except This is a beautiful blanket and was delivered quickly. However, we paid $18 extra to have the blanket embroidered with our name and wedding date and we selected option A to have the name above the pendleton patch logo. However, they put it in the most awkward place waaaay above the place it showed in the sample picture, more in the center, slanted, and half way up the blanket. I am very sad about this, it looks really weird. However, the blanket is overall nice, but I won't order embroidery through them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from warm, soft & thick I love how warm this blanket keeps me! My living room stays at about 55 degrees during the winter and this is the only blanket that can keep me warm...I have tried many other blankets but they don't compare to my Pendleton! Brutus, my doxie also favors the pendleton. Only drawback is that the blanket likes to pickup fuzz and hair off of things.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Twin size is not the same as the order twin blankets As this is a beautiful blanket, and we love the colors, the twin size is not the same as the other twin National Park blankets they sell. We purchased 3 twins and 1 full National Park Blanket to display in our cabin loft bedroom in northern Wisconsin. Unfortunately this twin was 2" shorter in width and 10" shorter in length than the other twins. Buyer beware, as we are returning this twin (64" x 80") for another size twin (66" x 90").

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blanket was terrific.... The blanket was a nice addition to my home. A good quality of fibers and design. Liked that it could be monogrammed. Reversible was a real plus not expected.
