From reading the reviews I can see I am not the only one broadsided by the foolish recut of a classic shirt which has been around forever. What happened? Did someone decide to do this because, what - 3 people said they wanted a different cut? Way to alienate your core market Pendleton! Who is making the decisions there?
Also, please stop with the copy-and-paste "We do have a new tab on our product pages showing Garment Measurements..." spiel after each negative review, that's only rubbing salt in the wound. Do you really want us to spend more time on your website looking at how many different ways you abandoned us?

Trimed the chest - now too tight
I've owned Pendletons for over 50 years and this was the first time I've bought one on line, as they are no longer available in local stores. The description says they have trimmed the arm holes and the chest to meet customer requests. This may be be a fine fit for the thin models on the web site. My old size large fit me just fine, but this new shirt (regular fit) is definitely tight across the chest. The shoulders are good and arm length are just a little long but okay. So the XL size for my chest would be too wide inthe shoulders and too long in the arms.

I am just purchased my 5th Canyon Large regular fit shirt. Two have died due to heavy use and 2 still exist. I just got my new one today. The new fit is absurd. Why would you take in the chest and arms when you offer a slim fit of the same shirt. Get back to the old sizing. Now if I want one to fit I will need an XL which will be too long in the sleeves and body. Your new hipster crowd can buy the fitted shirt, PLEASE go back to your old sizing. When you do I will buy more, until then, you lost a loyal customer. I will be returning this slim fit shirt, that claims to be regular fit. I could not be more disappointed in Pendleton.

I had high hopes for these shirts, given I had purchased a handful of 20+ year old pendleton's at a second hand shop. However, within 90 days I had one shirt where the snap button popped out of the fabric, and a second shirt where the arm stitching totally fell apart. They are beautiful shirts, and soft, but the construction quality is far from the price tag.

We have checked our design specifications and cannot find any measurements for the armhole specifically. We can see that the bicep and forearm measurements are about 1/4" to 1/2" smaller in circumference than our old cut. We have heard from many customers that the new cut may not be working for everyone. They are looking at design options. We have a tab on the product page showing Garment Measurements. The table shows the actual finished measurements for each size to help you see how garments will fit you in all other areas.
