<span itemprop="description">I have been looking for a warm and stylish wool winter coat for a couple years. I recently came across the Pendleton Ottawa Down Topcoat. It was exactly what I was looking for. Today I received my Pendleton Ottawa coat. It was beyond my expectations on every level: perfect fit, looks amazing and very warm. As luck would have it, it was -4 in Wisconsin today. I went for a walk and the coat kept me very warm. Excellent job Pendleton!</span>

<span itemprop="description">First coat I ordered was XXL and it was way to large. I typically order XXL Pendleton shirts/coats, but this was too large. Finally returned for an XL. Were the XL a new coat it would be worth every penny.
Unfortunately the coat I received had been worn for at least 2-4 weeks. It was filthy and full of dog hair and carpet fibers. Took hours to clean. Pendleton's Nebraska warehouse isn't checking items that are returned. After having wasted money on shipping twice I decided not to return it. It's unfortunate they aren't displaying these coats in the stores otherwise I would've bought it there.
This coat does great near freezing temps. Above that it's too hot. The duck down does a great job. Far better than fleece or wool alone.</span>

<span itemprop="description">A very handsome, warm coat that is an antidote to all of the down puffer coats or high dollar parkas with patches and brand names emblazoned all over them. I bought a Large size, which fits well (36 waist) but does not leave a lot of room for layering. My only wish is that it was available in a few more colors.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I looked at coats far more costly than the Ottawa. The Ottawa coat is a tremendous value! The wool and insulation/lining is thick and of very high quality. The fit and finish is right up there with many of the pricier brands and even better than several that sell for twice as much!. I really expected it to be very full and boxy, but to my surprise it fits like a high end Italian designer coat. Well done Pendleton. So satisfying to support a stateside company.</span>

Hello, What temperature would you rate this coat is good for? I live in Oslo, Norway so the temperatures can hover around - 8 to - 15 celsius and sometimes plummet to - 25, and can this coat stand up to a steady rain, or more a misty &quot;Irish&quot; rain?&nbsp;

We do not have the temperature ratings for our outerwear. Our Men's Ottawa Topcoat has a down insulation layer so will be be good for cold weather. It may not be suitable for extreme temperatures. The fabric construction and lining should make it resistant to a steady rain for a short time.
