Personally, I appreciate the stretch provided by the 3% spandex, due to tailored fit and lack of a back gusset. I found the fit to be true to size and the fabric substantial, but gentle on my skin with zero itch. I bought the plaid and liked it so much I came back for the stripe. The plaid has both black and blue lines and looks great with black pants. The colored lines are crisp against the white. This shirt is suitable for both work and everyday use. Expect compliments! The real standout is the fabric. It is very wrinkle resistant and it will look as freshly pressed at the end of the day as the beginning. And the fabric has a tight weave with enough heft that you can wear a dark-colored bra and not get a see-through shaded-outline of your bra. Due to the odor resistant quality of merino wool, I have been able to wear each several times without them needing to be drycleaned. They still look as pressed as the first wear. Even better is the temperature regulating quality of merino that will help you feel cooler in the heat and warmer when it&rsquo;s chilly. And if you do break a nervous sweat, this wool fabric will wick it away and dry far more quickly than cotton.
