<span itemprop="description">Extremely pleased describes me when the plaid peacoat arrived. The size 10 fits perfectly and the colors of the plaid being predominantly red with green and black make the coat look so elegant. I will enjoy it as much as the blue peacoat I purchased many years ago. It has the double breasted style. It is perfect for fall and spring in the State of Washington. I would definitely recommend this coat to a friend. I shop on line and live 45 miles from the original Pendleton Woolen Mills Store.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I received this coat as a Christmas present. The very first time I tried it on in front of the tree, it lost a button. I wore it a few more times and lost a total of 3 buttons. When I asked Pendleton for new buttons, they told me I had to wait 5 months because they were remodeling. A full 6 months after receiving my present, I contacted them again, and now they want me to send in the coat and order a new one. This was a heinously bad experience, and I am definitely not going to make any future purchases from Pendleton and will be warning friends and family against it as well.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Beautifully made jacket with lots of attention to detail; it even includes a set of plain black buttons if you prefer them to the gold buttons. The wool blend fabric is jacket weight, not coat weight, but is very soft and stylish. It is cut generous enough to wear layers underneath. I'm looking forward to wearing this for years.</span>

Why has Pendleton changed from 100% wool to a wool/polyester/other fabric? Pendleton has always been known and loved for their Peacoats! Yet the few years, I've not been able to purchase one in 100% wool. Won't buy anything less! Bring back all-wool item

We will pass along your comments to our designers for future consideration. Our Plaid Peacoat is 60% wool, 30% polyester and 10% viscose. The purpose of blending other fibers with wool is to capture most of the good qualities of each and minimize the less desirable ones. It allows the garments to have a softer finish than 100% wool can sometimes have.
