First produced in the 1920s, the Chief Joseph pattern is one of the oldest made by Pendleton Woolen Mills. The pattern celebrates the heroism of the Northwest's great Nez Perce leader, Chief Joseph. Its design is balanced with arrowheads symbolizing bravery and pointing in all directions of Mother Earth. Now we have woven the original blanket design into a lightweight wool fabric that drapes beautifully. 100% pure virgin wool. Dry clean. Made in the USA.
