The nomadic Yavapai or “People of the Sun" once occupied much of central Arizona. Yavapai women specialized in basketry, with some items woven tightly enough to hold water. The vivid pattern reflects the intricate Yavapai art of basketry. Now in a blue as brilliant as a cloudless Southwest desert sky. Reversible jacquard for two dramatically different looks. Like the original Native American trading blankets, it is unnapped. 82% pure virgin wool/18% cotton. Dry clean. Woven in our Northwest mills. Standard sham fits 20" x 26" pillow.

Out of respect for our Native American friends and customers, Pendleton Woolen Mills has changed the name of some of its Native American-inspired blanket patterns. In the future, Pendleton will no longer employ tribal names to title its blanket patterns. When appropriate, we are pleased to give credit to the talented Native American artists who provide us with original designs, or tribes with whom we are working.
