"Riata" or "lariat" is from Spanish "la reata", the word for rope. The riata was essential to horse and cattle handlers throughout the Old West – Native Americans, Mexican vaqueros and cowboys. The finely woven fabric is crafted of our exclusive Pendleton Eco-Wise Wool®, which meets our high standards of quality while further reducing our footprints on the earth. Napped.
