The Product Manager is responsible for merchandising exciting collections that reflect the Pendleton Brand and is the curator of the Brand. The Product Manager is responsible for the business management of the accessory category including ownership of gross margin, sales, profitability and product assortment. Accountabilities include the monitoring and enhancement of growth and profitability on selected product lines across all channels of the business seasonally. The Product Manager will effectively and efficiently manage information across all functional areas.
Manage all aspects of seasonal assortment planning from initial selection through post-seasonal analysis and feedback under the supervision of the HMM. Partner with all channels for factual feedback
Responsible for the overall gross margin by season, ensuring line by line costing is reviewed and approved. Establish current target retails and partner to maximize margin expectations.
Responsible for the growth and development of categories that reflect strategic initiatives.
Develop and present merchandise plans to the HMM based on sales history, relevant trend, price point and product positioning to ensure a balanced, marketable assortment.
Manage competitive retail analysis by season.
Partner and manage all phases of the product merchandising process including calendar timelines.
Create and present assortment concepts relative to key item merchandising within categories of responsibility.
Coordinate sample reviews as required, and execute subsequent follow-up with internal departments.
Work with HMM to update and evolve successful products to ensure a compelling product line meeting Pendleton standards.
Work with MW and WW Product Managers to develop accessories that meet the needs and coordinate with both lines on a seasonal basis.
Coordinate seasonal merchandise assortment with Home Production office to facilitate the process and ensure timely delivery of samples and deliveries
Prepare seasonal business recaps and participate in the sales analysis, ranking and forecasting process
Work with Communication to develop seasonal wholesale materials including pricelists and POS signage.
Maintain complete familiarity with seasonal layouts and all products designed for all channels.
Keep abreast of market and design trends.
Travel to domestic trade shows as required.

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel skills required
