Position Overview:
Pendleton Woolen Mills' Employee Store is a unique retail store setting open to our employees and their guests. The Employee Store Manager oversees all aspects of the store operation including special orders for employees. In addition, this position provides assistance in various areas to our Pendleton Outlet chain of stores.

Responsibilities Include:
Sales and Profitability:
  • Develop strategies for the store and execute plans that achieve results.
  • Create events and promotions to increase Employee interest in Pendleton products.
  • Communication of events and promotions with the use of email.

  • Operations:
  • Inventory control and management through ordering and rotation of stock.
  • Provide training and backup for staff on Employee Store accounting procedures.
  • Assist the Pendleton Outlet store chain with advertising, packaging orders, sign and poster needs. Coordinating the mailing house and tracking direct mail, in-put of Outlet events for the social media and communication with our local mall advertising.

  • Skill Requirements Include:
  • Practice effective verbal and written communication skills with legible handwriting
  • Execute and train in customer service excellence;
  • Carry out operational and visual functions;
  • Create and analyze reports/statements/budgets;
  • Effectively plan, organize, delegate, evaluate and provide feedback;
  • Work alone and without close supervision;
  • Have physical stamina and dexterity to reach and lift
  • Retail management experience, or equivalent supervisory experience, or proven productivity in a store management position.
