Position Overview:
Primarily responsible for processing USA credit card orders, provide general Credit department support and assist at reception desk.

Job Responsibilities:

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Prepay and Credit Card Accounts
  • Run reports and calculate performance charges to prepare letters/fax/email for customers
  • Process requests for payment, process checks and credit card charges while maintaining confidential credit card information
  • Reconcile discrepancies
  • Release orders when payment is received and cancel orders on instructions from a Regional Credit Manager
  • Maintain Richter, Lawson system and other tracking records.
  • Word Processing
  • Complete form letters for Credit Department
  • Daily mailings
  • Reception
  • Part of reception team. Assigned to lunches and breaks
  • General Other
  • Keep management informed
  • Perform back-up duties or special assignments as required
  • Credit file maintenance

  • Job Requirements:
  • Business related two year Associate degree
  • Basic cash application, accounting and good analytical skills required
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in customer relations
  • Ability to work under fluctuating workload and associated demands
  • Ability to handle conflict and resolve disputed issues, react well under pressure
  • Strong time/task management skills and able to work with minimal supervision. Accept responsibility and be accountable for activities
  • Comfortable with PC’s and Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Lawson experience a plus

  • Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Ability to sit at computer and desk for long periods.
  • Ability to file paperwork.
  • Ability to hear and speak English to communicate on the phone.
  • Ability to visually concentrate on the computer screen.
